David Boatner has over 25 years of executive leadership, sales & marketing, technology and real estate experience.
He has held key positions in sales and marketing with several telecommunications and technology based companies. They include WilTel Communications, McLeodUSA and Splitrock Services. As President of McLeodUSA Business Services, he built a successful sales force of over 1,000 employees and company revenues of $1 billion. He was instrumental in the IPO's (Initial Public Offering) of McLeodUSA (1996) and Splitrock Services (1999) a wholesale internet provider. Mr. Boatner formed the commercial sales and marketing organization for WilTel Communications. WilTel Communications, a nationwide fiber network and technology company was sold to WorldCom in 1995 for $2.5 billion.
Mr. Boatner's vision and entrepreneurial successes carried over to the real estate industry. A Texas Real Estate Broker since 1983 he capitalized on his real estate knowledge and his marketing expertise by founding Boatner & Associates.
He has brokered and authored numerous transactions in the commercial, residential and development areas of real estate. In 2006 he brokered and closed the single largest land transaction for a master planned community in the history of Galveston Island.
He is also founder, owner and developer of StoreSmart LLC a successful group of self storage facilities.
Boatner is active on several boards including CHR Solutions Inc., a technology services company and AIM Family Services, an international adoption agency.
